New Zealand Stamp Booklets have always been a
fascinating area of New Zealand Philately.
Whilst there have been numerous articles written, covering varying periods of booklet issues, until now, there was no single work that brought them all together in one volume. Following on from his very successful book on New Zealand Errors & Varieties, Bruce has written a very thorough book on New Zealand Booklets. It covers all New Zealand Post booklets from 1901 until the latest issues. Every reprint and as many known varieties are also covered.
Additional chapters on Prestige Booklets, Regional Postage Label Booklets, Customised Advertising Label (CAL) Booklets, Personalised Booklets, Miscellaneous, Unofficial and Cinderella Booklets are also included.
Large coloured images help with identification of all booklets and what the reprints and varieties look like. A checklist of all New Zealand Post booklets is included at the end.
Whilst complete, there are still areas that can be improved on, especially in the Edward VII and George V periods. With this in mind, the book is being made available for free download, with the hope that collectors can help add any additional information or images that they may have in their collections, to be included in further editions of the book. Updated PDF's will be available from this page.
